Why We Built Bomps: The Vision Behind the Platform

Every founder has a moment. For us, it was watching a veterinary clinic in Dubai manage their entire operation across 14 different tools — none of which talked to each other. The receptionist had one system for appointments, the vet had another for medical records, the accountant used a third for invoicing, and the owner checked a spreadsheet to see if the business was actually making money.

That clinic was Dragon Animal Care Center — our first founding partner and the catalyst for everything that followed.

The Problem Is Universal

We started researching and found the same pattern everywhere. Salons in Munich. Restaurants in Vienna. Consulting firms in Zurich. Retail shops in Istanbul. Every SMB was duct-taping together a patchwork of tools, losing hours to manual work, and paying separately for each piece.

Why Not Just Use [Insert Existing Tool]?

We looked at every major player. ERPs are too complex and expensive for SMBs. Vertical SaaS tools solve one problem but create silos. Generic "all-in-one" platforms are built for the US market and treat European compliance as an optional add-on.

We wanted something different: a platform that's powerful enough for complex operations, simple enough for a solo freelancer, and built natively for the regulatory reality of Europe and the Middle East.

The Operating System Approach

We modeled Bomps after what works: operating systems. Just as iOS or Android provide a foundation that apps build upon, Bomps provides the core business infrastructure — identity, scheduling, CRM, invoicing, compliance — and lets you install additional apps from our marketplace based on your specific needs.
